She/Her
Hi I’m Gabby and I teach Acro at EVO! I bring 10 years of teaching experience into my classroom, and I make skills accessible by breaking them down into manageable steps. In Acro, we have this concept of “eating your vegetables” which means refining the small skills, doing the reps, and building progressively toward bigger skills – this is what I love to do and teach. I believe acrobats at all levels benefit from the humble work!
Inclusivity and good vibes are at the top of my priorities list when I am hosting classes and workshops(second only to safety!). No matter your background or skill level, we foster a safe and supportive atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable exploring new challenges. Nothing is too serious (aside from safe spotting!), and we are all here to try and fail and then try again until we succeed.
When I am not teaching, you can find me tending my garden or my latest fermentation project, devoting hours to an elaborate meal (homemade pasta or dumplings anyone?), doing handstands wherever I can place my hands, or working on house projects. I also climb from time to time 🙂
I love talking about Acro and movement! If you’re ever interested in experiencing an Acro class first-hand, but you’re not sure what to expect or you’re feeling intimidated, come talk to me. Acro is for everyone!
